Antique Photograph Drawing

Found this old photo of my Baba and Papou when they were first married, around the late 1940's. (Baba is grandmother in Macedonian and Papou is grandfather in Greek) I adore this photo and decided to draw in pencil on textured paper. The photograph lacks details. my challenge in this drawing process was to let go of focusing on details and to switch my focus upon the emotion and shape formed through shadow/light.
