It's Never Just Black and White
This painting began with a sketch of an image of silhouette shadows from tree leaves and branches. I increased the vibrant hues within the shadows and enhanced the designs of the silhouette through shapes. Nothing in life is just black and white, there is a spectrum of hues symbolizing the complex nature of human beings. Everything has a different perspective, each perspective deserves a chance to be heard and seen. Life would cease to be a beautiful vibrant composition of disorganized structure. Grainy black and white silhouette shadows, may appear simple, but lack zeal and the breath of life.
